What a wonderful idea, Chris. Thank you for putting this together. I'm trying to get into the wiki now to add my Twitter name under Social Media. :)

Great idea. Makes me wonder why someone hasn't done it in the past. It's so simple it's brilliant!

Need an invite key. Won't let me add anything without it.

As usuall another great idea Chris, although hey no Loudmouthman in the sections so far ? I cant have disappeared that quickly ?

Wow - that seems like a really good (and, in retrospect, bloody obvious) idea! Ever consider making this a real web application instead of a Wiki? Know any good web programmers? ;)

    What a great idea!
This makes it easier for people like me (who can be a little shy online) to connect on Twitter!

I really like this idea. It seems particulary useful for people new to twitter, but also for finding tweeps that might be relevant for you.

The pbwiki is a good start. However, I think it will rapidly become more congested as topics, events, locales, etc are added. I agree with Mike, that a for reals webapp may be in order.

What a great idea! These packs allow new people the opportunity to "plug in" starting the moment they join Twitter.

I look forward to reading your future blogs.

    See you on Twitter!

Awesome idea. When I am still working on my list of followers for twitter and this would really simplify things.

Also I would like to get listed to if possible. I guess I would be marketed in make money online or internet entrepreneur.

I wonder how people are managing follows/followers within vastly different groups...do you have more than one Twitter account?
  • SisterSledge · 1 year ago
Do you plan on posting an invite key here or making this public for editing?
  • chrisbrogan · 1 year ago
I'm a one-account guy. I just watch different things at different times.

One of the difficult aspects about digg is finding people who share the same interests--just like Twitter. I'm making a post of Digg packs....

    Cheers!

    Hi,
I can't figure out how to add a Twitter Pack in the PBwiki interface using the Jaws For Windows screen reader:
    http://hj.com/jaws

I have reported the problem to Eric Damery of
    http://freedomscientific.com
    and to PBwiki via GetSatisfaction:
    http://getsatisfaction.com/pbwiki/topics/do_you...
    http://getsatisfaction.com/pbwiki/topics/web_ac...

I don't know if there is any work around to using the WYSIWYG editor. From what I can tell with the PBwiki documentation, it wants you to use the WYSIWYG editor to insert a new heading. It seems like new Twitter packs are created by adding a heading level 2 to the document?

I also tried to edit the HTML source and manually use code to add a heading but it didn't seem to work.
Also PBwiki still appears to have only a visual captcha on the "contact the Wiki owner," page. I will add that to the Get Satisfaction case. They really should fix the captcha more quickly if they have not already done so.

I will try to play with it some more.
    Thanks, Mika.
