It is really strange. I think I would rather stick to MySpace. It is more fun & less personal. Everyone needs privacy sometimes!

Re: The Fu Covers Twitter

I'm diggin this video ... she talked about a few sites that i have not used much. made me want to go mess around with them more to see how i can integrate into my normal use of twitter.

--
http://twitter.com/franswaa

Re: The Fu Covers Twitter

At Nashville Startup Weekend someone mentioned Tweetdeck to follow the conversation around tags. Thanks! I've been using twitter for a little while and am still learning about all of the ways to use it, along with related applications. I'm going to recommend this video to some colleagues who are trying to use twitter, but are really struggling with understanding it.

Re: The Fu Covers Twitter

Chris,

These show notes might be helpful to users if they want to check out individual twitter apps:

http://mix.epicfu.com/forum...

Re: The Fu Covers Twitter

Very cool:

1) Twitter Local to find folks in your town.
2) Twooble (not sure of the spelling) to find people in your social graph.

Love the Epic Fu!

Re: The Fu Covers Twitter

Thanks for the love, Chris! I've been debating whether or not I should sign up for Twitter. After watching the video, I have a better understanding of it and how what it may do for a personal account, and then a business account. I still am not 100% convinced by the relevancy to it and usually stick with facebook status updates, but I will give it a shot and see what happens.

Craig
www.budgetpulse.com

Re: The Fu Covers Twitter

Wow, that was an action-packed summary of twitter. They really did hit a lot of the good tools and basic info.

The one thing that I think they didn't cover is what the average person is really saying on twitter. I know this varies by quite a bit, but I think that's where much of the confusion comes in.

Of course, I think the best way to understand it is to follow a bunch of people for a bit. But that's not an option not everyone has time to entertain.
