Love. Either you have it for what you do, or you don't. And it always shows. Nice post Chris.

It's refreshing to read a post where you've peeled back the layers that we analyze everyday to to the true reason we're reading your blog in the first place. Love of what we do. Thanks, Chris.

Great insight after the previous post. I wonder if that's what your thinking about - the link between the two - the contrast. Very cool,
    Steve

What I'd recommend, if you haven't listened to it already, is Fort Minor - Mike's solo project back in 2005. Listening to his words and thoughts that he puts into these amazing songs really pulls you into his story and his life. Love this album.

I agree! I love the Fort Minor album as well as all of the mixtapes that had come out before the album was released. It's great to hear Mike tell stories throughout it.

I just posted "Remember the Name" to Chris' Facebook page because Fort Minor rips it on that track. I love it because it's all about hustling and passion! :)

Ha! I love that I've led you down the path to becoming obsessed the same way I am. Shinoda definitely has a ton of passion. Since I was already a huge fan, I took some time at BlogWorld to talk with him. It was definitely a really memorable moment for me. I arrived at BlogWorld *super* early so I could get a front row seat.

When you combine the business acumen that both Jay-Z and Mike Shinoda have along with the hustle and passion that both exude, you come out with a pretty good mixture. One of the reasons I listen to tracks like those and watch videos like I regularly post is because they help to continue giving me those little pushes especially when I'm tired or wonder if I'm taking on too much.

I have a ton more for you but gotta keep feeding you in small doses ;)

Thanks for this post. It is such a simple thing, but I have really been struggling for the last year to market the product I designed and developed (an online LLC formation tool). The products where originally designed to help others, but each time I worked on online marketing I felt so fake and unconnected (totally artificial). This article helped me to see that it is my attitude. The attitude I develop with needs to be the one I market with. Thanks!
