    Chris - interesting that you'd dedicate an entire post to asking/encouraging readers to subscribe. I'm assuming you'll blog about the results? I'd love to hear how successful this approach is.

    I'm subscribed through your site. I get your daily emails already. I'm surprised to get a subscription drive email from someone I already subscribe to.

    It's an RSS post from a blog. How would I filter you out? It's send to everyone who gets the blog. Sorry, but there's no suppression list for such.

    Oh Chris...guess what? Blue Sky Factory has a new feature releasing tomorrow. RSS to Email. Pretty sure it would solve the issue Michael Durwin is talking about ... suppression lists and such. Maybe we should chat?

    Does it count that your website is listed on my Alltop page? Not sure how that is measured. Currently, I use this for my RSS and stopped using Google Reader. Twitter is my second source of news.

    I love the way you promote your stuff aggressively but with just the right touch. You shake hands sincerely, but without making me feel like I need to wash my own hands afterward.

    I struggle with self-promotion, because I don't want to convey the feeling that it's about me and my success. But at the same time I know that if I don't promote my stuff it won't be seen. I hope I can learn to reflect the same feel I get from you.

    So now I'm probably going to rip off this idea for my own blog, hopefully changing enough to keep you from sending the internet police after me. :-)
