Aye, face time will never be trumped by digital connection. It's great that we can all share ideas in various media, but all of that needs to be seen for what it is: an impetus to cause all of us to come together IN PERSOn as often as possible.

Of course, most of us would never have even known we WANTED to talk to each other if not for the internet, so celebrate its ability to allow us all to first put our boats in the water.

I always come away from events with inspiration on how to up my own game, a sense of having a new, larger family, and like we just dropped a boulder in the middle of the lake- the ripple effect may take some time to get to shore, but the waves get bigger and bigger as the ideas and connections spread outward.

No matter how connected we all feel through video and online media experience, there is still no substitute for face time. I would urge anyone looking to create media projects online to be sure not to ignore that dimension of their lives.
