The Old Value-Cost Conversation
This is the first time I've seen you mention anything related to religion/preacher (not counting Pod Camp, ha ha). I'm curious, what is your bent, i.e religious affiliation, and how serious is your involvement?
Enjoy the next 1.5 days, you'll need the rest/downtime when it's all said and done.
I should clarify. I am fond of saying, "Love God, hate his fans." I love people who are passionate, and I love when people can "skin" religion in such a way that it feels more like life lessons. There are a select few folks I talk with about their take on God (I also talk about other views like Buddhism).
I seem to have an affinity for the devout, even when I'm not. My friends, Rob, Jon, and Michael, are all very strong in their beliefs. So is a friend in fleshspace called Jennifer. She's a missionary, and I still find common ground. I love Rabbis. Never met one I didn't like (yet).
But no, I'm not especially religious, or rather, you'd hate my view on it. : )
Secondly if you have searched for post-partum depression and found Chris' post about 'giving birth' to podcamp! Please head over to careermomradio.com where we discuss post-partum depression that involves babies (show 2).
Shameless self-promotion :) but in the hope that we will reach out to someone suffering.
