Mr. Brogan - I still owe you that follow up call. Now seems a completely appropriate time. Excepting... what number shall I dial now? AIM it is then.
  • susanreynolds · 2 years ago
All the best, Chris. Doorways are a puzzle and an interesting view, and that's matter which side you're looking from.

I'm sure you'll have exciting news to share soon - from another side of the doorway.
  • Dawn Mular · 2 years ago
You are a fine brand, ChrisBrogan, whether with this employer or on your own, the business cards people have might be irrelevant, but their interest in your ability to build intelligent business community is not!

Wishing you many successes on the path. Let me know if I can help in your reconnection!
  • Melissa · 2 years ago

Congratulations on a new direction. Remember, the one who dies with the most interesting experiences wins.

(The one who dies with his mortgage paid off comes in second, which is still pretty decent...)
  • communicatrix · 2 years ago
Well, I vote for you taking a wee breakie before dashing off for the next exciting bat-chapter of the life of Chris Brogan. But I look forward to whatever news and accompanying insight comes next.

  • Shane Robinson · 2 years ago
    Hoʻomaikaʻi ʻana!! (Congratulations in Hawaiian)

    Awesome news, Chris!

Many people think of Fall as the time of death and things moving into dormancy. But actually the opposite is true. Fall is the time to plant the seeds of fruit that will bloom in the coming months. It's the START of the cycle of renewal.

You've picked a great time to venture out. Historically that appears to be true for you.

Congratulations! Looking forward to the next time our paths cross.
  • Rachel Luxemburg · 2 years ago
Congratulations, Chris! I'm glad I got to meet you in Vegas.

I'm sure whatever comes next in your career will be exciting both for you and for all of us. :)
  • Kim Fenolio · 2 years ago

  • Jeffrey Sass · 2 years ago
Congrats! While daunting at first, change is always good. Look forward and never back. You have laid the foundation for great things to come, so enjoy the process of taking the next step. Life's an adventure... Take copious notes!
  • Bernie Goldbach · 2 years ago
Wow, Chris! You're moving up and taking your posse with you. On a logistical note, I think you should get a MaxRoam SIM in your phone. It takes Grand Central to another level.
  • debs · 2 years ago
Chris - How exciting. You have lots of passion and insight to spread - cant wait to hear more!!
  • Steve Woolf · 2 years ago
Change is always good. Like everything you do, I'm sure you took as much out of your experience with Pulver Media as anyone could. I'm sure Jeff will have a hard time filling your role.

I look forward to your energy and drive informing me of all new ideas and trends wherever you might dock your ship next.
  • Jeff · 2 years ago
    Chris.

Good luck wherever you go! We're all cheering for you!

I know that post-pulvermedia place quite well, and it has proven to be an excellent launching pad to even greater heights and experiences. Also, I am sure it won't get too far out of your sights...plenty of great people there (including, of course, Jeff).

Best of luck to you, Chris, in your next venture...and your next...and your next... ;-)
  • Nik ( loudmouthman ) Butler · 2 years ago
    First of all Chris,
Congratulations and huge best wishes from a very Loudmouthman. As Billy Connoly says, Change is as good as Arrest.

I sure from your position the view to the future is far more interesting and daunting than we can imagine. However if there was anyone who I could say has the ability and the awareness to judge the right moments for change it would be you.

Your going to do brilliantly sir and I am again wish you all the very best and well being.

    Nik
  • noneck · 2 years ago
yeah, don't find another employer! join me on the road! ;)
  • Dr.Mani · 2 years ago
Chris, I wish you luck in whatever you choose to do.

However, I find it hard to understand why you would give up something without first knowing (or having a clear idea) of what else you're going to do instead.

I mean, I've made MANY major changes in my life. Some worked out better, others worse, than the status quo. But I've never made a pro-active change/move without first deciding quite definitely what I'll be doing instead... and so I'm pretty certain you do to (maybe it isn't time yet to reveal it, huh? ;)

If there's any way I can help, all you have to do is ask, ok? :)

    All success
    Dr.Mani
  • Michael Pilla · 2 years ago
    Best of luck, Chris.

Congratulations in whatever you decide to do. I know that "free agent" status very well. There are a lot of great opportunities out there and it takes time to sort out the best for you. I've been there recently and am enjoying the ride.

Look forward to seeing you again soon in your next venture.
  • jeffpulver · 2 years ago
    Chris,

The past 13 months have been amazing and they are full of memories which I hope never to forget. The world would be a much better place if there were a few more Chris Brogans around.

I look forward to continuing our adventures and for all of the great things which lie ahead for you.

    Warm regards, Jeff
  • marshal sandler · 2 years ago
I could say good luck, but we all know Luck is when preparation meets opportunity ! You have skills this is your Luck !
  • Valeria Maltoni · 2 years ago
Echoing the sentiments here, Chris. It's good to meet someone with a human-centric view of business. Part of me says there is a need for a professional with technical depth and knowledge of conversation in corporate America. I know, I know... then again, there are some pockets of goodness there too.

Let me know how I can be of service.
  • Jeffrey Taylor · 2 years ago
Looking forward to see what happens with you next, Chris.
  • Dale Cruse · 2 years ago
    Congratulations and good luck, Chris!

  • Annie Boccio · 2 years ago
    Hey Chris,
Adding my voice to the multitudes here- best of luck to you, and to your family as well. You're an inspiring guy, just by being yourself, and that puts you way ahead of most of us!
  • Connie Bensen · 2 years ago
    Hi Chris,
Best of wishes as you start a new adventure! You've been so very helpful. Now in true 'Chris Brogan style' if there's anything I can do for you, please let me know.
    You're an inspiration & a great leader!
  • Jon Glassett · 2 years ago
That's the Chris Brogan I know: ever changing and seeking new challenges and experiences.

I'd wish you good luck but you seldom seem to need it.

Here's to the next big thing...

  • Jim Hathaway · 2 years ago
A door closes, another one opens...looking forward to your next adventure.
  • Dan York · 2 years ago
As I said in my post when my own changes occurred back in September:

"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."

(From "Closing Time" by Semisonic.) You are a wonderful writer who does an excellent job explaining this evolving space of "social media". From my perspective, you've been a great evangelist for Pulvermedia... you've made outstanding contributions to the social media space (through this blog and also PodCamp).... I think you'd be a tremendous asset to anyone looking to move into the social media space! Best wishes with whatever comes next!

    Dan
  • Michael Bailey · 2 years ago
    Good luck my friend.

Make sure that whatever you pick next will pay the bills and keep you happy, otherwise, it starts to eat up your passion, and that wouldn't be good.
  • Mike Allan · 2 years ago
Wherever the winds of change take you Chris, I wish you nothing but the best.
  • Jim Long · 2 years ago
    Chris

You'll bring so much knowledge, vision, and passion to any organization looking to inspire and engage their audiences and customers. You make people think, and then act in truly amazing ways.

I hope that your next endeavor allows us to remain close!

    Best,

    Jim Long

  • Phillip Zannini (PhillyMac) · 2 years ago
    Chris,

Kudos, props and congratulations. As someone that I've seen as a force of nature since I first came in contact with you, I'm sure that you'll ROCK whatever you do.

One memory I'll always have was when I ran into you at Podcamp Boston 2 and you were cleaning off the tables. There's not much a motivated man with a servants heart can't accomplish, because you'll always find the way to create situations that make you and your potential clients better.

    Shalom!
    Phillip
  • Joanna Young · 2 years ago
Just wanted to add my voice to those wishing you good luck Chris. I love the way you stripped down what you're good at to the plainest, simplest of terms - it helps us to see how valuable (and how rare) those skills are. I think I might add 'spotting possibility' onto the list though!

    Joanna
  • Norm · 2 years ago
Good luck Chris. I hope you next move is as exciting and rewarding as it needs to be.

Wish you lot os luck in whatever you do. You have been spearheading a lot of Social media efforts and giving a lot of people a start. I am sure you will come out a winner. You set an example with explaining that you and jeff Pulver are still buddies. I am thirlled to see Jeff's comment here. You boh are great guys and I will set about confirming that when I meet you in person.
