Not sympathy, but empathy- putting yourself into another's shoes- things that ring true. When telling jokes I always try to relate to life situations we've all been through. When I think I have a good one and no one laughs, I get confused. Was the joke bad or are people just that used to me?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've been trying to make vlogs using sort of a stand up comic approach.  I got some people telling me that what I thought was funny was actually thought provoking.
