I'm in. How could I not, after meeting Darren Barefoot this week and experiencing his 1100 Stacies presentation? It's all about "pyramid schemes for good."

Thank you again everyone who helped. I wrote up how the campaign unfolded/

We're over goal - the extra money will support the Sharing Foundation. If we can inch it up to $1,500, we can purchase a computer for her and her roommates (10 other college students being sponsored by the Sharing Foundation)

Meanwhile, stupid me - I underestimated the power of the social web - so I'm a little behind in the personalized thank yous. But I will personally thank each and every donor in some way. Thank you so much.

Yeah .. I just found out that the computer is taken care of through other channels -- that's great. But I also found out that there is another college kid in the program who needs a sponsor. So, the if the campaign total goes to $2,000 - we can all sponsor another college student. If not, the excess will go into the Sharing Foundation's general education fund that covers kids who are not sponsored in both college and high school program.
