Happy Birthday to Chris's mom, and remember Chris, really COOL people have tattoos. ;) They get them during really cool geek weekends where they meet great people and learn a lot.
My mom and I are also having a similar sort of experience and have found a new way to interact via the internet. My mom is an artist as well, and she started an online shop for the handmade purses she's making. I'll email you the link if you'd like to take a look.

You know from the day that met you on Twitter you have been pushing me to do SOMETHING..mostly to think. I have to say though that I respect you most because of your the love that you show for your family. I think that says a great deal about you as a person.
As a mom, I think that flowers would go a LONG way toward getting you out of this dog house...for the next 30 years or so.
