I'm happy to hear about your accomplishments. After living in southern WY for almost 7 years (Green River, Rock Springs, and Casper) I can tell you it's not all as descried. If you are planning on traveling there stay to the North (Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, etc) because the south, well... have you ever seen seen the Hills Have Eyes?

Congratulations on your success. You've successfully leveraged social media and your beautiful home landscape. Tourism is a tricky business to break ground in and this is a really inspiring story. Like Jamie, I'll also keep this post in mind when planning my trip to Yellowstone.

i think this is a great example of the power of the internet and social media. i am so happy that you have experienced such success and i hope you guys keep rocking out in yellowstone. i have never been but you can bet i will be contacting you when i visit :)

i love that you used the resources available to you to learn and educate yourselves about the different tools and possibilities out there. social media is a never ending learning medium and it seems like you have certainly come a long long way.

you have every right to be giddy, i would be too!

As a small town girl I can attest that a little internet access and success in timing to bring those walls down and create a successful business from anywhere.

Though I live in Boston now, I started off in Arkansas and the transformation of my VA business (I'm now a social media evangelist for a small Boston company, Vibemetrix) just from using Twitter astounded me.

Shelli, you have really nailed it with this post. Your summary of what all of these amazing tools have done for those of us who want to be involved and want to embrace it all but aren't massive in any way is wonderful and insightful. Congratulations on your success!
