I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather's condition, but I'm glad to see you have a vault of memories to share with your kids so they won't forget him either. Don't miss out on the opportunity to be as good of a father or a grandfather -- or an inspiration -- as you can be. Somehow I doubt that's even possible, given your life.

Sometimes I believe there's magic in the world. At the moment of your success something tragic and sad comes along. But how I see it your grandfather's passing is a gift to you. His strength and beauty drift from him and pass to you, to your family. It's like all that's happened to you in this last week was his last, most wonderfull gift to you.
