If I Were a Realtor
So just goes to show these things DO work!
Funny, I worked at a car showroom for approximately 3 weeks - while it was nice to have a different car to drive home each day, it was less than fun to be a hero one day because I sold a unit, when the next day my parentage was being questioned for selling nothing.
The plus point is that it gave me a great grounding on how NOT to treat my employees. So, again, silver lining - funny how things work out. :)
@BarbChamberlain
You're welcome to do a guest post on Books on the Nightstand anytime!
Dominick is an awesome guy, he and I just started chatting on Twitter recently. He's smart too - this is a really great way to get to know a bunch of new people at once, and to find out some little known facts about others you already do know.
I've been tagged by @barbchamberlain, so I'm off to start my list - problem is, I'm a pretty open book, I'm trying to think of some things that people don't already know (I mean, the stuff I can actually say in public :-)
Now...who to tag....who to tag....
I'm also a bit overwhelmed at all the new people I'm meeting. If I'm slow to respond everyone, please know it's not intentional. I'm not being rude on purpose!
Your grandpa is so cool Chris. My grandpas worked on the railroad and the other was a mailman. My grandfather (the mailman) is now 90 years old. He tells the best stories ever about growing up in the 1920s and 30s. I can imagine how much fun you had with your Grandpa.
Also, Batman is my favorite, too! How do you feel about the Batman movies that have been made?
I never sold anything, but I did once work at a survey center. I didn't want to be on the beer surveys because they were unsolicited, but for some darn reason, I always had the most (or one of the top #) survey completions every night. So, they kept putting me on beer survey. The job lasted from May of my senior year until I left for college in September. Then I went back to work there the next summer, but by then, I was sick of beer!
Making me want to do another 5 things. :)
As far as the superheros go, I've included a link to Helperman - a real life superhero :) Enjoy!
