Great point Chris. I am going to start this immediately with my podcasts - online shows - blogs - and speaking sessions. I think you are right in seeing a need for us all to reach out to the next circle of people.

I like this post a lot because I'm thinking about just this topic right now. I decided to start blogging more because I felt like I was pigeon holing myself with the whole media literacy thing.

I'm trying to talk more about art and artists. I'm not sure right now if I'm ready for an audience because I'm still finding my voice, but I'll totally use your advice when I get to that point.

Very valid point, and something I need to remind myself of often. I am very guilty of writing with the race enthusiast in mind, and forget that many people don't come from a mechanical background to understand my posts. When I remember, I include non-racer cliff notes if the subject is gear-headish, but sometimes I write without even thinking about it...
