The Old Value-Cost Conversation
où sont les femmes ? Really, c'mon! We're in 2008.
Kewl!If YOU'RE young then I'M young. I feel better already.
Regarding the comment from Valeria about the lack of women in the list of must-read-bloggers, the fact that no women's blogs were listed isn't an issue for me. Only 7 sites were listed and of those only 4 were individuals' blogs.
It's not hard to imagine coming up with a list of 7 must-listen-to-songs or must-see-movies and the 7 artists or directors all being men... or all women. It's just one person's opinion of must-read blogs and really, what's sex got to do with it?
On the other hand if the number was 20 or more, then I'd probably wonder why women weren't making this individual's list. But I'd just be wondering... and not assuming that there's a problem with the list.

But here's the gist of it:
"I don't think that it's male or female quality thing... it is the overall quality regardless of gender, race, sexual preference. That being said, it was also a personal choice. The context of the article wasn't all quality - it was what a business should be checking out if they haven't started looking at any Blogs yet.
I follow brilliant people (all who are on my personal "best of the best" list) like Kate Trgovac, Christopher S. Penn, Jackie Huba, Joseph Jaffe, Arianna Huffington, Garr Reynolds, BL Ochman, Hugh McGuire, Amber Mac, David Weinberger, Charlene Li, C.C. Chapman and more. I just don't follow them for gender equality... I follow them because I like what they do."
