And amen. I am so glad for this outcome of 2.0 media. You're one of the good ones Chris and it show up everywhere I've seen you. : )

Re: Being the Same You Always

I just can't get over this guys passion and enthusiasm. It's crazy how well he can articulate what is racing through his head in terms everyone can grasp.

Re: Being the Same You Always

Very well said! He didn't need buzzwords, or tech terms to explain the importance of your personal brand in the future. He leaves no questions unanswered. Great video. Even if he did dismiss my ancient ass with air quotes.

I am still cautiously optimistic that everything Gary says will, in fact, come to fruition. I am all for Citizen Revolution (big commie from way back) but Vested Interests are vast and mighty.

Oh--and go, Gary Vee, go!

Re: Being the Same You Always

Wow, I think this sums up how things are now in a nutshell. Gary verbalized exactly the concept that has been gurgling up in me for the last few months. In fact, it's pretty much the reason for my own "re-birth" in January.

Though it's a loose parallel, I've been explaining to friends who aren't "there" yet that the shifts happening in/with Web 2.0 is like the difference between pre- and post-Women's suffrage. The point being, I'm sure there were a whole bunch of politicians pre-Women's suffrage who were great before women could vote, but couldn't make the shift once the voter pool increased by 100%.

Patrick Sullivan Jr.
The Edit Weapon

Re: Being the Same You Always

Great video message! I am very much behind what he's saying. And indeed the good will come together and have the power to keep things moving in a positive direction. The bad...well...they're normally none too eager to be in front of the camera anyway. Maybe they'll turn good! :-)

Re: Being the Same You Always

I love it.
