People were not really using it to its fullest extent until I showed up here two weeks ago. Now we're using the discussion board for meeting minutes (because you can comment on someone else's minutes if they forgot something). We've got enhancement requests up on the sharepoint site as a custom "list", so that we all know whatever everyone else is up to. Of course, we're using the Shared Documents feature, and I love that I can update the project plan on the site (it integrates to all the office apps) and I do not have to mail out updates to everyone.
My new routine of the day is to go to each of my project's sharepoint sites and make updates so that my teams can stay up to date. It's very satisfying.
Now I just gotta train the other people to make more updates, adding useful links, contact information etc. It is hard to get people to share - I think you mentioned that in your "Share first, Ask Questions Later" comment above. I'm glad you're seeing people sharing - I need to figure out how to let people know it's safe to do so.
