That is an excellent list full of great ideas. I can relate to #19 as I don't own a TV and don't subscribe to any newspapers, so often get asked the question: "How to I get my news?". I recently wrote a blog post on how I use RSS and podcasts for all my news. (http://www.digitalmouseworks.ca/2008/02/06/news...)

The question is now, how do we promote this to the people who currently don't understand blogs, rss and podcasts?

Thanks for the *inspiration* Chris...all I had came up with today was "Things to do with your dead HD-DVD player" ;)

This is GOLD. Unfortunately, I'll be doing proposition 21 soon as a videopodcast, which is something entirely different...

I really like the concept of "My Mother, My Daughter." I often see the generation gap in thinking between older and younger professionals in the workplace, especially as it relates to New Media. Seeing these differences in an interview would be extremely interesting and possibly helpful. Great idea!

You realize, those are 20 ideas for not just blog posts, but entire blogs. Some have longer "legs" than others.

    21. If you could change the world with a blog post, what would it be about?

Thanks for the great, thought-provoking list Chris. I particularly liked My Mother/My Daughter too as I often try to pull my own mother into social media conversations (she is community developer/manager) and she has a completely different perspective on the tools she needs (blogging is not one of them!)

Excellent tips... I sometimes want to blog the whole day. Post everything that comes to my mind. However I learned that working more on traffic is also important. I wish I have so much time to blog about everything. Thanks for sharing

You know how you tell yourself you are studying because you have your certification books opened in front of you? But you are really clicking on Stumble Upon to find interesting posts to read?

Yeah well, I came across yours and had to write to tell you I enjoyed it very much. I gave it the thumbs up, so more people can come across it and enjoy it also.
