Why are there like 5 topics on Facebook... god get over facebook already. If you flew in for the TC 20/40/ conference, then you don't even have the excuse of living in silicon valley to be drinking the koolaid.

This list is cool but weird. It's half interesting and half total techie that 85% of the american population has no idea what it even means.

Strikes me that if folks need a list of things to write about, ideas from someone else, then they will soon run out of steam on their chosen topic... I feel that if you can't write about something important to you with imagination and enthusiasm, then, whatever it is, it is not that important to you, and you clearly have no enthusiasm for it.

I suppose you could imagine you have those attributes, but since you clearly lack imagination, (or you would have thought of your own blog topics), you'll probably struggle with that too.

Nice idea, Chris, it would be nice to see the opportunity to be creative taken, and the medium exploited, while it's hot, but some people are simply not up to muster. there's a limit to what you can do to help them...

Cool list and clever post. Two ideas... it might be interesting to put a website up that reposts all the posts folks write, categorized by your titles. Reading different people's approaches to the same title/topic could be interesting. You could also take one article on each of the titles and put them into a book on LuLu... proceeds to support some worthy community cause as it would be a community written book... Just a thought...

I figured there's a lot that each one of these items can cover (expansion on each topic) and figured we could add links to posts that people have written on each item.

No reason we can't expand the list beyond 100, either.

I think this is a great idea, making a nice big list of topics helps on those slow news days with plenty of time to write a post.

To combat this when I think of ideas I either write them in Sidenote or I make a draft post on Wordpress and use the title later to fully complete the post.

I think I will be using some of your titles for conversation starters, and I might make a list of topics myself.

Thanks Chris. I've taken a half dozen of these topics and made drafts from them. I doubt I will write any of these in the next month. For one, it takes some time for me to process my thoughts in a coherent way and get them down. I often have several posts that I work on for weeks and months before I publish them. You've got some great ideas here - and things that I want to see myself. Maybe in Boston, I'll have one or two ready and can point you to them.

i am 13.

i just spent the last 27 days doing nothing BUT writing (almost)
i based all my writing off of your list.

i printed out
and posted my writing in different locations of my community
i left the name as unknown.
if you type a simple search into tinypic
every 30 or 40 pages you will find something i worte
with cool photography.
i have been working with my teacher also.
she suggests i publish my writing into a book.
i think i just might.

Oh what I wouldn t give to have been a fly on the wall during this luncheon. Here is Heidi Montag having lunch with Meghan McCain, who is none other than the daughter of Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain. And yes, Heidi is boring as usual with her straight blonde locks that never change. Chris, I agree with your comments...there is an endless supply of material to write about. Perhaps those who don't make a list like you did are blogging for the wrong reasons. Why write if you're not passionate about a topic?

I think many people get caught up in whether their words will be popular. So much advice is given about keeping your blog narrowly focused for popularity. However, if your passions run wide, then write away. There is an infinite supply of things to blog about. Maybe those who do not create a list such as yours do blogging for the wrong reasons. Why write if you’re not passionate about? Many people get caught up in whether their blogs will be popular. However, if you are passionate about many things, then write away.

Argentum Motors to Expand Capacity to Produce 0.4 Million Small Cars

Argentum Motors is set to expand its capacity for small cars to 0.4 million per annum. Argentum Motors would also start manufacturing 1-2 litre engines to cater to the demand for small cars. The company is creating flexibility at plant to suit a larger range of vehicles. Existing facility, which can produce engines in the size of 1.3-1.7 litre, is being expanded for 1-2 litre. The company was also setting up a new paint shop and an assembly line which would have a capacity of 0.25 million-0.3 million cars per annum at an investment of INR 5,000 million.

Auto majors eye sourcing pact with Argentum owned by Ashish Deora and Team

MUMBAI: A couple of European and Asian auto majors including Peugeot-Citroen of France are in talks with Argentum Motors to manufacture components and cars, it is reliably learnt.

Argentum is also planning to invest around Rs 500 crore to upgrade the facility. The three promoters of the company will eventually hold around 12% in the company after the debt is converted into equity and fresh investors are roped in.

“This capacity will attract a large number of global auto manufacturers as the company has all the building blocks for integrated car and component manufacturing,” said an analyst of a Mumbai-based brokerage.

Media topics that need more coverage...I have one..I am self employed, and my now former business was simply decimated over the past three years. I see unemployment figures on the news and I just want to pinch someone. I don't know about anyone else's state, but my state and the county I live in, rely heavily on revunues generated by real estate and it's anciliary businessess...and on stated income loans for people with good income and credit. I never see andthing sustantive about those numbers as far as unemployment go. and they are significant..I would say between making little or nor money, the unemployment rate is about 85%.. How to we get some attention for that one?
